hi zack, my brother eddie always mocks me, saying that ellesse shoes are for girls, on account that the name sounds like "on a lassie". the model of shoes i prefer don't offer much ankle support, and i'm not sure what kind of grip they would offer on a table, either.
you might just have to stick to some good ole american brand.

dear gareth --

recently i have begun to play quite a lot of table tennis, and have noticed that my tennis shoes (new balance model 560) don't provide the ankle support i need to take my game to the next level. would you recommend i try ellesse, assuming a pair can be found in san francisco? while never actually owning a pair of ellesse, as an american typically infected by materialism, i have spent many an afternoon sneaking lascivious glances at store windows displaying funny european brands like K-Swiss, Tretorn, etc. I thank you in advance for any light you can direct my way.
