Hi Bruce. There is now a fixed version available, although you have to fix it manually by replacing the index.html file contained in the installation.

Full instructions and the replaced index.html file are contained in the following ZIP file:

http://www.garethjmsaunders.co.uk/psion/downloads/msn2go_psion_fixed.zip (ZIP, 2KB).

I've zipped up the Java VM and uploaded it to my website. It includes instructions (from Psion) as to how to install it on your Psion 5mx. I hope that helps.

You can download Java VM for Psion 5mx here (Zip, 1.53 MB)

I wish I could get a netbook myself but they're still too pricey for my wallet. Maybe some day... :)

Gareth,

Not only Brits love the old Psion. My first purchase was the OrganiserII - I believe it was back in '84 - and my present most valued computer is the netBook. Yesterday I got hold of two additional units with a bit new hardware in them than my old one. They accepted the Build 450 OS, and now I am on my way to WiFreedom. With a bit of luck I'll get a handful of Avaya cards which should play. I just read about MSN2Go - - I can't believe it! Maybe one day i will be on my doorstep too...

Best regards,
