I hope and pray that there won't be any bushfires today but the conditions are real 'bushfire' conditions. It is 11.00am 1/1/2006 and I have returned from Church to sit by the air conditioner. The congregation was down this morning, probably a combination of heat and hang-over. The first day of 2006 here in Australia has started off EXTREMELY HOT. 40 degrees C!!
