Summary: Jane returned home from Fort William this evening — where she’d stayed in a B&B for only 10 minutes, for £30.00, before turning around and driving back to Cellardyke. She arrived around 10:45, just in time for us to take our cat Spot to the vets as an emergency.

We lost the house

We were so close, but we lost the house. We were told that it was ours subject to their financial team sorting things out and then 20 mins later we’d lost it because someone else walked in and bought it outright.
More details to follow but we are gutted.

Following a brief hiatus (of 24 hours) on the house-hunting front we’re well and truly back on the hunt this afternoon with no fewer than FIVE house viewings lined up. This week were are been mostly looking for houses in St Monans, Pittenweem, Anstruther and Cellardyke.
