Jane and I are just back from an enjoyable 24 hours visiting our lovely friends Andrew and Lindsay in Beauly (west of Inverness), and a quick visit with Robin.
Beautiful landscape, fine friends, good food, relaxed spaces, fun games, fine cream teas, dubious white chocolate milk shakes and a flaky local unsecured wireless connection that prevented this blog post from being posted last night! It’s been too long since we last visited, we won’t leave it quite so long before the next.
It was also, incidentally, the very first weekend away that Jane and I have had (that wasn’t a holiday) in the seven and a half years that we’ve been married!
