I remember life before mobile phones, text messages and email. I'm sure I was a calmer, saner person in those days! ;)

When I was at university at St Andrews (89-93) we didn't have email, everything was done via paper. My sister was the first person in our family to get a mobile phone. That was about 1991; I didn't get a mobile phone for another ten years or so.

I guess I've learned my lesson to double-check times. :)

Had to laugh when I saw your update on this item; what did we ever do before all these wonderful communication methods such as telephones, mobiles, text messages, email..... Not that you are old enough to remember such a world!

Yes, I hope it went well too. Sadly had to work til 8 in (feezing!) Edinburgh so no chance to get over to join in.

Let us know your thoughts on the proceedings. Did you make it there for the start, did you feel as if you'd never been away from preaching?
