Done it on LJ!

Seeing as my Itunes is borked just now, i'll do this from a nearly dead ipod.

1. Alice Cooper - Sister Sara - Dragontown
2. Metallica - Sanitarium - Master of Puppets
3. Iron Maiden - Infinite Dreams - Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
4. Ozzy Osborne - Crazy Train - Hits of Ozzy
5. Weird Al - Your Horoscope for Today

Hmmm... Not as odd as it could be! :D

People to do it (if they've got time/can be arsed):

Savage
Hedge
JR
Flt Lt Bear
Everyone else!

Very difficult to keep to 5 songs, and there's no scientific process. But here goes:

1. Alice Cooper - Under my Wheels (Fistful of Alice - Live)
2. Led Zeppelin - Since I been loving you (The BBC Sessions Disc 2)
3. The Smiths - How soon is now (Morrissey Live at Earls Court)
4. Jeff Healey - Yer Blues (The very best of Jeff Healey)
5. Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah (Grace)

The first four are based on artists I've always liked - Schools Out was the second single I ever bought. I saw Jeff Healey back in 1988 or 89 in Glasgow and he was mind blowing... saw him again last year and sad to say it was disappointment, but I see that in a different light since his death last week.

And Jeff Buckley - well that'd always be in my top 5 tracks even if he wouldn't be in my top 5 favourite artists.

I listed the source albums in case anyone wants to download them.

1. Long cold day by Fish
2. Fat bottomed girls by Queen
3. Garden party by Marillion
4. Cruel to be kind by Spacehog
5. Crazy on you by Heart

Hmmm. No idea how Fat Bottomed Girls got in there. I wouldn't even put it in my top 10 Queen songs. I'd have placed Hammer to Fall, Good old fashioned lover boy and Killer Queen at the top of the pile...

Pretty much agree with the others, although I would have thought that Heart of Lothian would have topped Garden Party...

Hmmm. Also with the aid of Last.fm, my top five artists would appear to be:

1. Fish
2. Queen
3. Marillion
4. Spacehog
5. Heart

And again using Last.fm, my favourite tracks by each of those would be:

1.

4. Cruel to be kind
