Lounge music interpretation of Cannibal Corpse song “Rancid amputation”

Saturday, November 3rd, 2007

Now, I have to admit that I don’t list Cannibal Corpse amongst my favourite bands, but this video is utter genius.
WARNING: Don’t watch/listen to it if you are easily offended.
Cannibal Corpse’s last album “Kill” has one of the most tame titles, or indeed covers, of any of their albums in their 17 year career. Who […]

Weeb and Bob playing Portal

Sunday, October 28th, 2007

It looks like Weebl and Bob have been playing Valve Software’s Portal this week.
Portal is now available bundled with The Orange Box, and appeals to me more than the Half Life games. Check out the trailer.
Weebl and Bob are two of my favourite cartoon characters. Ever.

A few months back I stumbled across a website that had this bright red box proudly displayed on its page:

It was clearly an advert for something, but I thought that it might be quite fun to see what it reckoned “the exact name of my perfect lover” would be.
I already knew: Jane Ellison Saunders.
So I […]

Human Tetris

Friday, October 12th, 2007

Why do the Japanese always have better TV game shows than we do?
The best we have at the moment is Noel Edmonds presenting Channel 4’s Guess-What-Box-The-Big-Number-Is-In. Meanwhile the Japanese are getting to watch Human Tetris.
Utterly genius!

Operation Check Every CD Case™

Yesterday evening I decided that I should like to listen to the soothing tones of Halford:

Just to clarify, I do not mean Halfords (with an ’s’), high street purveyor of car accessories, components and bicycles (at the Bike Hut).

As an aside, I do not believe that Bike Hut will become as popular as Pizza […]
